Joint Egyptian-Russian naval exercise concludes

Joint Egyptian-Russian naval exercise “Friendship Bridge-4” concluded on Saturday 11/12/2021.

 

The drills were conducted by Egyptian and Russian maritime forces in the territorial waters of the Northern Fleet in the Mediterranean Operations Theater over the past days.

 

This joint training comes as part of the distinguished relations between Egypt and Russia, with the aim of enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences between the armed forces of both countries.

 

A number of naval units, frigates, rocket launchers, auxiliary supply ships and divisions of the special navy forces from both sides took part in the drill.

 

The drill showed the efficiency and competent skills of the participating forces from both sides in planning, managing and controlling the naval units along with tackling various forms of threats.

 

Navy top commanders from both sides were present at the final stage of the drill.
