Kirkuk, -The head of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, head of the Unified Iraq Turkmen Front list, Hassan Turan, chaired a regular meeting of the list, which was attended by heads and leaders of the parties affiliated with the list.
Turan extended his congratulations to the Turkmen press family on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the Turkmen press in Iraq.
He praised the heroic role of Turkmen journalists in various international and national press and media institutions in reporting facts and events and their permanent defense of the Turkmen national constants in Iraq.
The meeting reviewed the political, security and economic conditions throughout the country and the region, emphasizing the preservation of coexistence, security and stability, enhancing services and guaranteeing the rights of the Turkmen regions in the federal budget.
The head of the Iraqi Turkmen Front presented a summary of the ongoing discussions in the meetings of the State Administration Alliance and the Turkmen vision in the political process, and the legitimate demands that were presented to the Prime Minister about achieving national representation of the Turkmen in the cabinet and in the special grades, and the call to maintain the security and stability of Kirkuk and not to manipulate its security situation and brotherly coexistence between its components, as well as emphasizing the continuation of discussions between the components of the province under the auspices of the United Nations Mission (UNAMI) to reach sustainable solutions to the issue of Kirkuk, as the head of the list indicated that he presented the Turkmen demands paper prepared by the list to the Prime Minister on the demands of the Turkmen component and the need to achieve this in fairness to the sacrifices of the Turkmen component .
