The sixth edition of the Ethraa Career Fair in the financial and banking sector is set to take place on 7th and 8th October 2024 to introduce promising job opportunities for citizens, both men and women, in the financial sector, while increasing the rates of Emiratisation in this vital sector for the country's future economy. Organised by the Emirates Institute of Finance (EIF) in collaboration with the Sharjah Human Resources Department, the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Expo Center Sharjah, the two-day exhibition will take place at Expo Center Sharjah, featuring over 100 entities and institutions from the leading banks and financial institutions in the country. The event aims to provide more than 700 job opportunities for young men and women with high school diplomas and bachelor's degrees in business administration, economics, accounting, and information technology. This sixth edition is part of the Ethraa initiative which aims at supporting the Emiratisation drive in the financial, bank ing, and insurance sectors by providing 9,375 jobs by 2026-2027. It seeks to increase employment opportunities for citizens and engage them in shaping the future of these vital economic sectors.
