Samar: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Samar in the Philippines at 22:58 GMT on Tuesday, as reported by the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences.

According to Emirates News Agency, the epicentre of the earthquake was located at a depth of 95.9 kilometres. It was initially determined to be at 12.48 degrees north latitude and 125.40 degrees east longitude, as per the centre’s findings.
