RAMALLAH: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) today strongly condemned the ongoing targeting of health facilities, including UNRWA facilities and employees, the latest of which was the attack on an UNRWA convey that was heading to the Gaza Strip on Sunday. OIC also denounced the continued war crimes, genocide and ongoing destruction carried out by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, stressing it is a flagrant violation of international law and resolutions issued by the UN Security Council, the General Assembly and the International Court of Justice. In a statement, the organization also condemned the Israeli occupation's continued deprivation of the Palestinian civilian population of food, water, medical care, and other basic services. OIC renewed its call on international community to assume its responsibilities towards imposing an end to the Israeli military aggression, ensuring adequate and sustainable access of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, confronting attempts at for ced displacement of Palestinian civilians, and providing protection for the Palestinian people.
