Amman: A delegation from the Iraqi Anbar Provincial Council visited the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) on Wednesday to study its initiatives in municipal work, public transportation enhancements, and electronic service transformations. Acting Director of Amman City, Nabil Jariri, emphasized the significance of the Iraqi delegation's visit in fostering cooperation between GAM and Al Anbar Governorate. He highlighted key projects outlined in GAM's strategic plan for 2022-2026. The delegation received briefings from GAM directors on the municipality's organizational structure and strategic plan, which focuses on improving quality of life, environmental sustainability, transportation, traffic solutions, infrastructure, and investment. GAM also shared its strategies for managing population growth through urban planning, geographic information systems, and green city initiatives.
