The Russian Foreign Ministry Tuesday announced it had summoned the Charge d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Moscow, Stephanie Holmes, to protest the "illegal" entry of American journalists into the Kursk region on the border with Ukraine. The Ministry stated, "A strong protest was filed to Holmes after American journalists entered the Russian Kursk region during the Ukrainian forces' incursion into the region.
