BETHLEHEM: A Palestinian young man was injured on Thursday after Israeli colonists attacked him in the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem. Local sources said that the settlers attacked Mohammad Saleh Ubaidallah, 19. He was also injured after being bitten by a dog that the colonists released on him in Kisan. The Director of Ambulance and Emergency at the Palestinian Red Crescent in Bethlehem Abdul Halim Ja'afreh told WAFA that a young man was treated for injuries, bruises and bites in his body after a dog was released on him, adding that he was transferred to Beit Jala Governmental Hospital. The Secretary of the Fatah Movement in Kisan Ahmad Ghazal indicated that a group of colonists attacked Ubaidallah while he was grazing his sheep in the wilderness area, beating him severely, before a dog was released on him and bit him, leaving him with bruises and wounds. Ghazal added that the occupation forces and colonists have recently escalated daily attacks against shepherds, which include beatings, live ammunit ion, seizing a number of sheep, imposing heavy fines, and threatening them not to return to grazing areas again.
