Beqaa: Twelve Lebanese civilians, including eight children, were killed and 22 others were injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes on Tuesday, focusing on several towns across the Beqaa region and extending into southern Lebanon. According to Jordan News Agency, a Lebanese security source reported that Israeli warplanes launched intensive attacks on towns such as Hosh Sneid in Baalbek and Rayak in Beqaa. Other affected areas included Hadatha, Janata, Qusayr, Marjeyoun, Yater, and Hanin. In addition to the airstrikes, drones were observed flying over Beirut and its surrounding areas, reaching as far as the Keserwan region. The same source disclosed that the Israeli military has issued direct threats to the residents of southern Lebanon, cautioning them against returning to their homes. There were also threats made against ambulances, with accusations of them being utilized by Hezbollah forces. These developments mark a significant escalation in tensions in the region, affecting numerous innocent civilians.
