Dubai: Nakheel, a division of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has announced the awarding of contracts totaling over AED 5 billion for the construction of ultra-luxury villas on the first six fronds of Palm Jebel Ali. The project is set for completion by the end of 2026 and involves three major construction firms: Ginco General Contracting, Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast, and United Engineering Construction Company (UNEC). According to Emirates News Agency, the contracts will facilitate the building of 723 villas split between the Beach Collection and Coral Collection, each offering exclusive beach access. These villas will be developed across Fronds K, L, M, N, O, and P. The development plan includes 539 five- and six-bedroom units under the Beach Collection and 184 seven-bedroom units under the Coral Collection, available in eight different architectural styles. The expansive villas, ranging from 8,000 to 15,000 square feet, are part of a broader initiative to enhance community living through improved road networks , utilities, and landscaping. This effort aligns with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan. Khalid Al Malik, the CEO of Dubai Holding Real Estate, commented on the development, stating that Palm Jebel Ali is set to redefine waterfront living while boosting Dubai's growth through new investments and tourism opportunities. Gheyath Mohammad Gheyath, Founder and Chairman of Ginco General Contracting LLC, expressed pride in partnering on this landmark project, emphasizing the company's commitment to professionalism and strategic partnerships. Batchu Sagar, CEO of Shapoorji Pallonji, reflected on the honor of contributing to the development of luxury villas at Palm Jebel Ali, with a focus on quality and safety. Eng. Abdul Halim Muwahid, Chairman of UNEC, also remarked on the privilege of being part of this innovative project, looking forward to building a lasting legacy. The announcement follows previous agreements for infrastructure and marine works on Palm Jebel Ali. Specific construction responsibilities include Ginco building 197 villas on Fronds O and P, Shapoorji Pallonji constructing 275 villas on Fronds M and N, and UNEC developing 251 villas on Fronds K and L. Once completed, Palm Jebel Ali will feature mixed-use neighborhoods with stunning views of the Arabian Gulf, 13.4 kilometers of beachfront, and 16 fronds. The project aims to become a major residential and leisure destination, complete with abundant recreational spaces and smart city technologies for enhanced connectivity.
