Sharjah: The Sharjah Digital Department (SDD) has partnered with ADRES Real Estate Services to launch "Aqari," a new integrated platform aimed at revolutionizing real estate services in the emirate of Sharjah. The platform, announced at GITEX 2024, promises to provide a single, reliable source for all real estate-related activities, enhancing transparency and supporting economic growth within the region. According to Emirates News Agency, the partnership agreement was signed by Lamiya Al Shamsi, Director of the Sharjah Digital Department, and Muath Maqbool, General Manager of ADRES Real Estate Services. The event was witnessed by high-ranking officials including Sheikh Salem bin Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi and Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi. The "Aqari" platform is part of Sharjah's strategic initiative to digitize and streamline access to various services, making them accessible via an electronic portal and mobile applications for both iOS and Android users. The platform will initially focus on digitizing pro perty leasing processes, including the endorsement and renewal of lease contracts, and will later expand to include comprehensive services such as property ownership, agency management, and dispute resolution. This initiative not only aims to simplify real estate transactions but also to create a unified database that will serve as a valuable resource for both the public and decision-makers in the real estate sector. Scheduled to launch in December 2024, "Aqari" will start by offering services related to property leasing and aims to progressively include other services in subsequent phases. The platform is designed to improve the customer experience by developing a comprehensive real estate ecosystem and providing a holistic view of the market, thus facilitating informed decision-making and promoting a qualitative shift in the region's real estate services.
