Al jizah: The Airport International Group Foundation (AIGF), the executive arm of Airport International Group's corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, marked a significant achievement with the graduation of its fifth cohort from the "Hirfati" training center in Al Jizah. The event, held on Wednesday, was attended by key figures including AIGF Chairman Omar Masri, AIGF Vice Chairman and CEO of Airport International Group, board members, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Transport, Al Jizah Municipality, and the local community. According to Jordan News Agency, since its inception in 2021, AIGF has focused on empowering the unemployed youth of Al Jizah, the community surrounding the Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA). This year, the foundation celebrated the graduation of 112 students who completed various courses tailored to provide them with the skills required in today's job market. The training included mobile maintenance, tailoring, web design, intermediate English, Internati onal Computer Driving License (ICDL), inventory management, and safety training. With this latest cohort, the total number of graduates prepared to enter the workforce has reached 622. The foundation has not only provided education but also supported graduates with the necessary tools to start home-based businesses, alongside offering free transportation to facilitate easy access to the training center. "We are immensely proud to celebrate the achievements of our fifth cohort of graduates at the Hirfati training center," said Masri during the event. He emphasized the foundation's commitment to equip Al Jizah's youth with essential skills and resources, enabling them to make meaningful contributions to their families and communities. In line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, AIGF reiterated its commitment to continue supporting youth empowerment, community development in neighboring areas, and environmental sustainability. These efforts highlight the foundation's dedication to fostering a prosperous and sustainable future for the community it serves.
