Al ain: The Emirates Red Crescent Authority (ERC) in Al Ain, in collaboration with the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination (ZHO), recently conducted a significant event to support the "UAE Stands with Lebanon" campaign, aimed at providing aid to the Lebanese population amidst ongoing challenges. According to Emirates News Agency, the event was a direct response to the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, emphasizing the UAE's commitment to extend steadfast support to Lebanon. The initiative saw active participation from People of Determination, their families, and staff and volunteers from ERC and ZHO. Together, they engaged in packing essential food and health supplies into boxes that will be dispatched to assist those affected in Lebanon. Dr. Ahmed Al Dhaheri, Director of the ERC in Al Ain, expressed his gratitude towards the participants for their generous contributions. He highlighted the event's importance in reinforcing the UAE's dedication to glob al humanitarian efforts.
