Moscow: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates is scheduled to begin an official visit to the Russian Federation on 21st October 2024. The visit aims to engage in substantial discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin and to participate in the 16th BRICS Summit in Kazan. According to Emirates News Agency, during his stay, Sheikh Mohamed will discuss various aspects of the UAE-Russian bilateral relationship with President Putin. The talks will focus on enhancing cooperation in key areas such as economy, trade, investment, and energy. These discussions are part of an ongoing strategic partnership between the two nations, aiming to bolster ties and tackle both regional and international issues of mutual concern. Following these bilateral talks, Sheikh Mohamed will attend the BRICS Summit from 22nd to 24th October. This year's summit marks a significant milestone as it will be the first occasion the UAE participates as a member of BRICS, reflecting its enhan ced role on the global stage.
