BEIRUT: Eight Lebanese civilians were killed following a series of air raids by Israeli warplanes on towns in southern Lebanon, local sources reported. According to Jordan News Agency, the attacks claimed the lives of three civilians in Srifa, two in Kafr Dunin, and two more in Deir Qanoun Ras al-Ain, where an additional person sustained injuries. Another civilian was reported dead after a raid targeted a civil defense center in Zahrani. The source further noted that Israeli air raids affected 17 towns across the southern region. The town of Kafr Shuba experienced additional shelling involving incendiary munitions, contributing to the widespread damage and heightened tensions in the area.
