Islamic Resistance Launches Missile and Rocket Attacks on Israeli Military and Settlements

BEIRUT: The Islamic Resistance carried out a series of coordinated missile and rocket attacks against Israeli military positions and settlements on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. The strikes targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers at Al-Baghdadi and also hit the settlements of Hatzor and Beit Ha'Emek, as well as a military area at the Zareet-Aita al-Shaab-Khallet Warda triangle. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Islamic Resistance issued multiple statements detailing the attacks. Statement (15) announced that at 12:00 noon, fighters launched a missile salvo at Israeli troops gathered at the Al-Baghdadi site. This was part of ongoing actions described as in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza and in defense of Lebanon. Subsequent statements reported further strikes. Statement (17) indicated that at 1:10 p.m., the group shelled the Hatzor settlement with what was described as a "qualitative rocket salvo." This was followed by another attack at 1:45 p.m., detailed in statement (18), where the Beit Ha'Emek settlement was hit with a large salvo of missiles. Finally, statement (20) described an additional attack occurring at 2:10 p.m., targeting a gathering of Israeli soldiers at the Zareet-Aita al-Shaab-Khallet Warda triangle. Each statement reiterated the group's commitment to supporting Palestinian resistance and defending Lebanon against Israeli actions.
