UMM AL QAIWAIN: Sheikh Ali bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Chairman of the Umm Al Qaiwain Municipality Department, inaugurated the Umm Al Qaiwain Visual Arts Exhibition at the Umm Al Qaiwain Cultural Centre. The exhibition features a wide array of artworks from 30 UAE-based and international artists, who have showcased pieces inspired by abstract, classical, and realist art schools, highlighting themes such as Arabian horses and realistic environments. According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Ali toured the exhibition with attendees, examining the various artworks and engaging with the artists about their pieces. The artists provided insights into the techniques used in their creations and the significance of these works in their artistic journeys. Sheikh Ali expressed admiration for the exhibition, commending the Ministry of Culture's efforts in supporting fine arts, which he believes enhances the country's art scene and provides artists with broader creative opportunities. Mubarak Al Nakhi, Under-Secretar y of the Ministry of Culture, emphasized the importance of art exhibitions as platforms for artists to present their projects and exchange ideas. He highlighted the role of such events in enriching the cultural landscape and promoting the evolution of different art schools and movements.
