AMMAN: Jordan and Rwanda are exploring collaborative opportunities to enhance standardization, conformity certification, and quality control systems. In a meeting on Wednesday, Abeer Zuhair, Director-General of the Jordan Standards and Metrology Organization (JSMO), and Rwandan Ambassador Urujeni Bakuramutsa discussed potential partnerships in these critical areas. According to Jordan News Agency, Zuhair underscored JSMO's dedication to strengthening economic cooperation with Rwanda, focusing on national standardization systems, measurement practices, and border control. She noted that Jordan's commitment to international standards has been instrumental in establishing trust in the quality and safety of its products, thereby boosting economic confidence. Bakuramutsa commended JSMO for its scientific contributions and its supportive role in Jordan's national economy. She expressed hope that Rwanda could benefit from Jordan's expertise in standardization and quality management to advance its systems and impro ve the competitiveness of its products.
