AMMAN: The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, inaugurated a new building for the Military Justice Directorate in Amman's Tabarbour area. The opening ceremony, attended by senior army officers, underscored the Directorate's role in upholding effective judicial standards within the military framework. According to Jordan News Agency, Maj. Gen. Huneiti emphasized the Directorate's significant contribution to maintaining national security through its partnerships with other judicial authorities. He praised the professionalism of the Directorate's staff and highlighted the commitment of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) General Command to enhance the Directorate's efficiency. This includes efforts to improve the training and qualification of military judges and judicial cadres to ensure high standards of integrity, transparency, and justice. Huneiti also stressed the importance of collaboration between the Military Justice Directorate and various military units to bolster the judicial s ystem's effectiveness and safeguard the rights of JAF officers. During his visit, he was briefed on the Directorate's recent modernization efforts, aimed at upgrading the judicial ecosystem in line with evolving demands and future aspirations. In recognition of their service, the army chief honored several former directors of the Directorate. He also met with current staff, conveying greetings from His Majesty the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and commended their dedication to maintaining performance and discipline.
