AMMAN: Jordan has issued a strong condemnation of Israel's recent military actions, specifically denouncing the Israeli army's raid on Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip. The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has called these actions a breach of international humanitarian law and the 1949 Geneva Convention, which safeguards civilian protection during wartime. According to Jordan News Agency, the Jordanian government views the targeting of hospitals as a severe escalation in the ongoing conflict, jeopardizing essential facilities vital for the population's survival in northern Gaza. The Ministry emphasized that such actions are tantamount to war crimes, illustrating a policy of collective punishment and worsening the humanitarian crisis in the region, particularly with the intent to displace residents from their homes. The Jordanian spokesperson further urged the international community, especially the United Nations Security Council, to assume its legal and moral responsibil ities by demanding an end to Israel's aggression.
