Vostochny: A Soyuz-2.1b carrier rocket equipped with two Ionosfera-M heliogeophysical spacecraft and 53 small satellites has been positioned at the Vostochny spaceport's launch pad in Russia's Far East. The State Space Corporation Roscosmos announced the installation on Saturday. According to Emirates News Agency, the Russian space agency stated that the Soyuz-2.1b rocket, accompanied by Ionosfera-M No. 1 and Ionosfera-M No. 2 spacecraft, including 53 associated Russian and foreign small satellites, was transported to launch pad 1S at the Vostochny cosmodrome. The scheduled launch time is set for 2:18 a.m. Moscow time on November 5. The mission includes four Ionosfera-M satellites and one Zond-M satellite, which will contribute to the Ionozond constellation. This constellation aims to monitor geophysical processes, specifically space weather, and address various tasks, including the observation of the ionosphere and the Sun.
