Dubai: Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), welcomed Inna Svyatenko, Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, during her visit to the UAE. Svyatenko is in the country to participate in the Global Women's Forum Dubai. According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting focused on exploring ways to enhance cooperation and partnership across various fields, building on the existing friendship and strategic partnership between the UAE and Russia. Ghobash emphasized that the strong political, economic, and tourism relations between the two nations have positively influenced parliamentary relations and fostered close cooperation between the Federal National Council and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. Inna Svyatenko extended her congratulations to the UAE on the occasion of the 53rd Eid Al Etihad, expressing her wishes for the country's continued progress and prosperity.
