SEOUL: A delegation from the United Arab Emirates, led by Alia bint Abdulla Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Entrepreneurship, participated in the Global Startup Festival COMEUP 2024 in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The event, held on December 11 and 12, provided a platform for showcasing Emirati innovation in the fields of technology and artificial intelligence. According to Emirates News Agency, the UAE Pavilion, organized by the Ministry of Economy, featured 28 small and medium enterprises from the UAE. These enterprises presented their products and services, highlighting their reliance on advanced technological solutions and artificial intelligence. The pavilion served as a focal point for attracting investments aimed at supporting the growth and development of these enterprises. The UAE Pavilion garnered significant attention from attendees and participants, who engaged with the presentations on entrepreneurial opportunities and enablers available in the UAE. Alia Al Mazrouei emphasized the strong histor ical ties and strategic partnership between the UAE and the Republic of Korea, particularly in the economic and trade sectors. She reiterated the commitment of both countries' leadership to continually enhancing these relations. The UAE delegation's involvement in the festival included presentations by Emirati entrepreneurs on their innovative projects, as well as participation in discussions and meetings with investors and venture capitalists. These interactions aimed to explore further opportunities for collaboration and investment.
