BRIDGE Summit and Meta Forge Partnership to Propel Global Media and Entertainment Opportunities

Abu dhabi: In the lead up to BRIDGE Summit 2025 – the world’s largest debut gathering for media, content, and entertainment launching this December in Abu Dhabi – BRIDGE, the organiser of the event, has signed a landmark partnership agreement with Meta. The announcement was made during the visit of Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of BRIDGE, and Dr. Jamal Al Kaabi, Vice Chairperson of BRIDGE, to Meta’s regional headquarters in Dubai.

According to Emirates News Agency, the inaugural edition of BRIDGE Summit will take place in Abu Dhabi from 8-10 December 2025, convening more than 60,000 participants, 400 global speakers, and 300 activities and activations across seven specialised content tracks. This comprehensive global platform aims to foster connections between skills, professions, content, platforms, talent, and markets.

Under this partnership, Meta will assume a central role at the Summit through thought-leadership sessions, interactive workshops, and various multi-platform activations. Utilizing its advanced technologies in augmented and virtual reality, behavioral data analysis, and digital interaction, Meta will provide immersive learning experiences and interactive content to enhance participants’ understanding of new media tools and digital innovation possibilities.

This collaboration is a significant element of BRIDGE’s strategy to attract leading players in media, digital technology, and creative industries, establishing a global hub that contributes to redefining the future of human communication. It also aims to reinforce the ‘content economy’ by building impactful ecosystems that promote engagement and connect communities through innovative communication channels.

The partnership emphasizes the importance of strengthening connections and building alliances to shape the future of media, content, and entertainment. By combining Meta’s global platforms with BRIDGE’s network of experts, the collaboration seeks to create opportunities for creators and innovators to connect, exchange knowledge, and expand their global influence.

Abdulla Al Hamed highlighted the creative economy’s role as a fundamental pillar of the national economic system and a catalyst for shaping the future of the UAE. He stressed the nation’s commitment to supporting the creative community through a conducive legislative and investment environment, encouraging innovative projects that contribute to shaping the future and reinforcing the UAE’s global standing.

Al Hamed noted that the BRIDGE and Meta collaboration reflects BRIDGE’s vision to build a global ecosystem empowering media, content, and entertainment professionals. He affirmed that this industry forms a strategic infrastructure for economic and cultural growth, strengthening the UAE’s position as a global hub for creativity.

He concluded by stating that Meta’s participation in BRIDGE Summit 2025 underscores the Summit’s ambitions and objectives, aiming to unite all contributors to the content economy under one interactive platform, fostering an environment attractive to investors and creative thinkers.

Moon Baz, Director of Global Partnerships for Africa, Middle East, and Trkiye, expressed excitement about partnering with BRIDGE to create opportunities for creators and innovators. She emphasized Meta’s mission to build the future of human connection, empowering the next generation of creators to reach new audiences and build communities across platforms.

The meeting was attended by BRIDGE’s delegation, led by Abdulla Bin Mohammed Bin Butti Al Hamed, alongside Dr. Jamal Mohamed Al Kaabi and Maryam Bin Fahad. Meta’s delegation included Moon Baz, Basma Ammari, Anas Metwaly, Mariam Bin Butti Almheiri, and Mohamed Omar.
