UAE Leaders Celebrate 54th Eid Al Etihad at Zayed National Museum

Abu dhabi: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with Supreme Council Members, Rulers of the Emirates, Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers, and Sheikhs, attended the official celebration of the UAE's 54th Eid Al Etihad. The event, themed 'United,' took place at the Zayed National Museum.

According to Emirates News Agency, the celebration saw the presence of prominent figures, including His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and other key leaders from Fujairah, Umm Al Qaiwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Sharjah. Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers from various emirates also attended, showcasing the unity and leadership of the nation.

The ceremony highlighted the UAE's enduring spirit of union, emphasizing its rich heritage and future aspirations. It honored the legacy of the nation's Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, through a display of historical artefacts. These included the Abu Dhabi Pearl, the Bronze Swords from the Saruq Al Hadid site, Carnelian Beads, the Abiel Coin, and the Kamal. Additionally, a 1966 Chrysler Newport and the Magan Boat were showcased.

Creative teams brought the UAE's history to life with visual displays, traditional costumes, orchestral pieces, and folk performances, involving artists from various backgrounds. The UAE National Orchestra contributed a special performance, embodying the nation's spirit and values.

The event was accessible to all through a livestream on the official Eid Al Etihad digital platforms, inviting everyone who considers the UAE their home to participate in the celebration.
