DEWA Joins Forces with RTA for Dubai Project Management Forum

Dubai: Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has entered into a sponsorship agreement with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) to become the Organising Partner of the Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF) for the years 2027-2029. This partnership highlights the collaborative strength between the two entities and their commitment to supporting a platform that enhances Dubai's status as a global hub for project management and sustainable development.

According to Emirates News Agency, the agreement was signed by Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA, and Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA. This collaboration means that DEWA will take on the role of Organising Partner for the 12th, 13th, and 14th editions of the DIPMF. The forum has already achieved considerable success in previous editions, having attracted over 17,000 participants from around 50 countries and hosting more than 400 keynote sessions, workshops, field visits, and specialised training programmes. These accomplishments have firmly established the forum as a premier international platform for knowledge exchange in project management.

Mattar Al Tayer expressed his appreciation for the ongoing partnership with DEWA in organising the forum. He stated that this partnership represents a strategic dimension in the forum's journey as an international platform for sharing expertise and shaping future directions in executing large-scale projects. Al Tayer emphasized that this collaboration reflects the shared belief of both entities in building an advanced knowledge ecosystem for project management that aligns with Dubai's vision for global leadership.
