Doha: Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Special Envoy of the US President to the Middle East Steve Witkoff on Sunday. The meeting focused on reviewing the strategic partnership and cooperation between Qatar and the United States, with an emphasis on enhancing collaboration in defense and energy sectors.
According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions also included recent regional developments and the Pakistani mediation efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions.
