Texas: The Starship spacecraft has returned to Earth after completing its 12th test flight, marking a significant milestone for SpaceX. The spacecraft's journey concluded with a splashdown, confirmed by SpaceX on the social media platform X.
According to Emirates News Agency, the test flight encountered an unexpected incident when the spacecraft exploded after its splashdown. During its ascent into space, Starship also lost one of its six Raptor engines, a detail announced during the broadcast of the mission.
Despite these challenges, the mission successfully launched 22 satellites into space.
