Abu dhabi: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued a federal decree appointing Hamad Ali Mohammed Al Kaabi as the Director-General of the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation, at the rank of Ministry Undersecretary.

According to Emirates News Agency, Hamad Al Kaabi has an extensive background in leadership roles, most notably as the UAE Permanent Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency since 2008. He has also represented the UAE in various international organizations and served as the UAE Ambassador to Austria, the Slovak Republic, and Slovenia.
