Venezuela Earthquakes Death Toll Rises to 4,333

Caracas: The death toll from the two earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24 has risen to 4,333, National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez told reporters on Saturday. Rodriguez detailed the significant impact on infrastructure, with 856 buildings affected, including 190 that either collapsed completely or suffered structural collapse.

According to Emirates News Agency, the government's preliminary estimates indicate the need for 25,000 homes to address the housing crisis caused by the earthquakes. Authorities have proactively identified approximately 40 plots of land, totaling about 584,000 square meters, designated for housing projects in the regions of Osma and Chuspa.
