Abu dhabi: Kuwait has issued a strong condemnation of the repeated attacks by the Houthi group on ships navigating the Red Sea, particularly highlighting the recent attack on the Saudi ship NCA MASA. The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry emphasized the severity of these attacks, calling them a blatant breach of international law and a direct threat to the security and freedom of maritime navigation, as well as the safety of international trade.
According to Emirates News Agency, the ministry expressed Kuwait's unwavering solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, pledging full support for any measures Saudi Arabia undertakes to safeguard its sovereignty and protect its security and interests. The ministry further stressed the importance of adhering to international law, which ensures the freedom and safety of navigation in international waterways.
