Abu dhabi: Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the 2026 Ju-Jitsu World Championship is set to take place in Abu Dhabi from 1st to 9th August at Mubadala Arena.
According to Emirates News Agency, the event is being organized by the Ju-Jitsu International Federation (JJIF) and hosted by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation (UAEJJF). More than 1,500 athletes from across the globe are expected to compete in the championship, which underscores the UAE's stature as a global leader in jiu-jitsu and a prominent venue for world-class international sporting events.
The championship will feature various categories, including masters, adults, and youth divisions such as under-14s, under-16s, under-18s, and under-21s.
