Abu dhabi: Oil prices were mixed on Thursday: amid concerns over potential Middle East supply disruptions following US strikes on Iran and renewed Israeli threats against Tehran. Brent crude futures settled 11 cents-or 0.12%-lower at $95.52 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures rose 29 cents, or 0.32%, to $91.30.
According to Emirates News Agency, the mixed settlement in oil prices reflects the market's uncertainty amidst geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. The recent US military actions against Iran and escalating threats from Israel towards Tehran have heightened fears of supply disruptions in the region, causing fluctuations in the global oil market.
