Abu dhabi: The National Insurance Company - Daman, part of PureHealth, has unveiled an extensive programme in celebration of Emirati Women's Day, aligning with the 2026 theme, 'We Emerge Stronger and Better.'
According to Emirates News Agency, the initiative includes a variety of awareness sessions, expert discussions, and creative workshops focusing on women's health, leadership, and their increasing role in technology and innovation. The programme aims to encourage greater participation and contribution in professional and leadership sectors.
The festivities began with a flagship event at Daman's Abu Dhabi headquarters, featuring a women's empowerment discussion and the 'Carry Your Story' Workshop. This workshop enabled participants to creatively express their aspirations, personal journeys, achievements, and national identity.
Khaled Ateeq Aldhaheri, CEO of Daman, stated, "We take pride in the pivotal role Emirati women continue to play across all sectors. At Daman, we believe that empowering Emirati female talent and investing sustainably in their development are essential pillars for enhancing organisational readiness and building a more competitive and sustainable future." He highlighted that Emirati women constitute more than 35 percent of Daman's workforce, showcasing their commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace.
The programme is set to run throughout September at Daman's headquarters in Abu Dhabi and its Al Ain branch, featuring collaborative awareness sessions with local organisations. Key highlights include a 'Women and Technology' session, emphasizing the role of women in technology and innovation and their importance in leading change.
Additionally, the programme will acknowledge female volunteers for their contributions and include various employee appreciation initiatives, along with creative and interactive workshops. These efforts underline Daman's dedication to promoting empowerment, diversity, and equal opportunity in the workplace, while strengthening the participation of Emirati women across diverse professional fields.
