UAE Dispatches Fourth Plane with Humanitarian Aid to Flood-Stricken Nepal

Paris: The United Arab Emirates The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has dispatched a fourth plane carrying 38 tonnes of humanitarian aid for those affected by devastating flooding in Nepal. According to Nam NeNetwork, the aid included 500 tents and 108 humanitarian relief kits. This recent delivery follows the UAE's earlier efforts, where three planes were sent to Nepal with a total of 148 tonnes of humanitarian aid, as well as a rescue team. In response to the crisis, the UAE has announced the allocation of US$10 million in urgent humanitarian aid for those impacted by the severe flooding and landslides in Nepal. The flooding began on the morning of August 26 when a powerful torrent of water swept into the Bhotekoshi River after a glacier collapse triggered a landslide. The disaster has resulted in a death toll exceeding 1,300, with many more individuals still unaccounted for.
