Sharjah: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an Emiri Decree to approve the general organisational structure of the Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD).

According to Emirates News Agency, the decree outlines the approval process for the general organisational structure of the SSSD. The Sharjah Executive Council is tasked with issuing decisions that will approve the detailed organisational structure of the Department. This includes decisions necessary to implement the decree, such as approving job descriptions and duties of the Department's organisational units in line with their respective competencies. Furthermore, the decree grants authority to establish, merge, or abolish any organisational units under the departments included in the general organisational structure.
