Cairo:The Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Egypt has decided to maintain the current key interest rates.

According to Emirates News Agency, the overnight deposit rate, overnight lending rate, and the rate of the main operation will continue at 19.00 percent, 20.00 percent, and 19.50 percent, respectively.

The discount rate also remains at 19.50 percent. This decision is based on the Committee's evaluation of recent inflation trends and its outlook, as well as the shifts in the associated risk balance.
