Khuzama:The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and KELME have introduced KHUZAMA as the Official Match Ball for the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027, which is set to take place from January 7th to February 5th, 2027.

According to Emirates News Agency, KHUZAMA is named after the wild lavender that blooms across Saudi Arabia, symbolizing the warm hospitality extended to participants in the tournament. The ball's violet hue represents the traditional color used for welcoming honored guests.

The design of KHUZAMA embodies a bold and contemporary visual identity, featuring geometric patterns anchored by 'The Portal,' inspired by traditional Najdi architectural doorways. The ball incorporates deep purple, vibrant green, and sand tones, aligning with the official tournament palette.

KHUZAMA is crafted for high performance, with violet-and-white panels designed to enhance visibility for players, officials, and spectators both in daylight and under floodlights.

AFC General Secretary Datuk Seri Windsor John highlighted the unveiling of KHUZAMA as a milestone for the tournament, emphasizing the combination of cultural elements and technical engineering in its design.

KELME Chairman Ke Yongxiang expressed pride in unveiling KHUZAMA for a second consecutive tournament, noting its blend of cultural and technical aspects to support player performance. Patrick Murphy, CEO of Asia Football Group, stated that KHUZAMA reflects the tournament's identity and the welcoming spirit of Saudi Arabia.
