Abu Dhabi:Dr. Stefan Bl¤ttler, the Attorney General of Switzerland, praised the exceptional organization of the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice held in Abu Dhabi. He expressed his gratitude to the UAE and the Ministry of Justice for their significant efforts in hosting the event.
According to Emirates News Agency, Bl¤ttler noted the success of the Congress, highlighting the effective efforts of the Abu Dhabi organizers in gathering participants from across the globe. He expressed confidence in the future of such international conferences, referencing the inaugural congress on crime that took place in Geneva in 1955.
Bl¤ttler emphasized the necessity of ongoing dialogue and collaboration in combating organized crime. He noted that these conferences facilitate crucial interactions among specialists and officials, fostering professional relationships, exchanging viewpoints, and identifying shared priorities on a global scale.
