UAE-India Cultural Council Meeting Explores New Avenues for Cooperation

New Delhi:The Third Joint Steering Committee Meeting of the UAE-India Cultural Council took place in New Delhi, co-chaired by Noura Al Kaabi, UAE Minister of State, and K. Nandini Singla, Director-General of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations. Senior officials from both nations also participated in the session.

According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting reviewed progress since the previous session and explored new ways to strengthen cultural cooperation between the UAE and India. This aligns with the leadership's vision to deepen bilateral relations and enhance people-to-people connections.

Discussions covered priority areas such as tourism, sports, cultural heritage, creative industries, and youth engagement. Both countries considered opportunities to initiate joint projects, exchange expertise, and foster collaboration among cultural institutions and stakeholders.

Noura Al Kaabi highlighted the Council's effectiveness in translating the leadership's vision into practical outcomes. She emphasized the progress in preserving heritage, documenting shared history, and connecting youth, reflecting the depth of the UAE-India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Looking ahead, the two sides reaffirmed their commitment to advancing cultural cooperation as a key pillar of their bilateral relationship, aiming to expand the scope of initiatives and ensure lasting value for both nations' people.
