Sharjah Ruler Oversees Strategic Education Agreements

Sharjah:His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, attended the signing of significant strategic cooperation agreements involving the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) and several key educational organizations.

According to Emirates News Agency, the agreements were signed with the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (ICESCO) in Sharjah, FranklinCovey Middle East, and Faseeh E-Learning Centre. Key figures involved in the signings included Ali Ahmed Al Hosani, Director-General of SPEA; Salem Omar Salem, Director of the ICESCO Regional Office in Sharjah; Ammar Ahmed Abdulrasoul, CEO of FranklinCovey Middle East; and Dr. Sajida Salem Mohammed, Executive Director of Faseeh E-Learning Centre.

The agreement with ICESCO aims to foster institutional cooperation in education, science, culture, technology, innovation, and youth. This framework seeks to enhance private education quality, facilitate knowledge exchange, build capacities, and support initiatives with broad regional and international impacts.

The FranklinCovey Middle East agreement focuses on developing a strategic framework to aid SPEA's goals in advancing the private education system. It aims to cultivate educational leadership, empower teachers, and strengthen school-family partnerships, while also investing in students' personal development through the 'Leader in Me' programme.

Meanwhile, the agreement with Faseeh Centre targets improvements in Arabic-language education. It emphasizes the exchange of expertise, training of teaching staff, and the integration of modern technologies and artificial intelligence in educational practices. This collaboration aims to enhance teaching methodologies and educational resources in Arabic-language education.
