ADJD Launches Expanded Family-Oriented Programmes for ‘Year of the Family 2026’

Abu Dhabi:The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has intensified its community engagement and family-oriented awareness programmes as part of the 'Year of the Family 2026'. The initiative aims to strengthen family cohesion and raise awareness about positive values that support family stability by expanding communication channels to reach diverse segments of society.

According to Wam, during the first nine months of 2026, ADJD's awareness efforts included broadcasting 27 radio episodes on the 'Happy Home' programme via the Abu Dhabi Holy Qur'an Radio. These weekly episodes addressed various family issues and conveyed educational messages to foster positive family relationships.

Additionally, the Department organized seven interactive workshops targeting employees of national companies, focusing on family cohesion and the benefits of a stable home life on the work environment. Seven awareness lectures were also held across several Abu Dhabi councils as part of the 'Majalisna' initiative, promoting awareness of values that underpin family and social stability.

To further engage the community, ADJD organized activities marking the International Day of Families at shopping malls in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. These events included interactive activities, panel discussions, and family-oriented educational games designed to strengthen family bonds and communication.

The Department's participation in the Sheikh Zayed Festival also expanded its outreach, offering family counselling services to emphasize the importance of preserving the family unit as the cornerstone of a cohesive society.

These efforts demonstrate an integrated approach by ADJD to enhance social awareness, promoting family values and supporting community stability through diverse tools and methods.
