Abu Dhabi:Ohana Development has announced that 92% of Phase 2 of Manchester City Yas Residences was sold in under 48 hours following the sales launch. The development, situated on Yas Canal, saw all townhouses and duplexes purchased quickly, continuing the trend set by Phase 1, which sold out within 72 hours earlier this year.

According to Wam, the sales data revealed that Emirati nationals made up 53% of the buyers, while the rest were UAE residents and international purchasers. The second phase included 619 units, comprising two- and three-bedroom townhouses, duplexes, and four- and five-bedroom villas. The payment plans offered were a 30/70 split for UAE nationals and 35/65 for other nationalities.

Husein Salem, CEO of Ohana Development, highlighted the significant response from buyers as a testament to the appeal of the Manchester City Yas Residences. He noted the development's focus on integrating sport, wellness, and lifestyle to create a unique residential experience. Mustafa El Sammak, COO of Ohana Development, praised the teamwork and dedication that facilitated the smooth sales process, reflecting the growing interest in Abu Dhabi's real estate market.

The expansive project covers 1.67 million square metres, with over 55% allocated to landscaped gardens and green spaces. It will include a Manchester City training academy, fitness and wellness facilities, a marina sports club, and a waterfront promenade with various amenities. Construction of Phase 1 began in September, with phased deliveries planned through 2029.
