Abu Dhabi:ADI Foundation, based in Abu Dhabi, has partnered with Zamanat Advisors Ltd to explore the realm of tokenised private credit through a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration aims to advance real-world asset (RWA) tokenisation by combining asset origination, financial structuring, and institutional blockchain infrastructure.
According to Emirates News Agency, the MoU outlines that ADI Foundation will offer access to a pipeline of real-world asset opportunities and its ADI Chain infrastructure. Meanwhile, Zamanat will focus on credit analysis, due diligence, transaction structuring, and coordinating investor distribution.
The partnership will initially focus on areas such as maritime finance, SME credit, trade finance receivables, and Sukuk, including Shariah-compliant structures. An initial pilot project will explore tokenised vessel financing with structures designed to provide periodic distributions to eligible investors.
The framework set by the agreement aims to support up to US$150 million in tokenised assets on ADI Chain, contingent on commercial viability and regulatory compliance. Both organisations will work together to identify potential transactions and advance selected opportunities toward development and implementation.
