Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a meeting with Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates, in Abu Dhabi. The discussion centered around the latest developments in the Middle East and strategies to enhance regional and international efforts to mitigate escalation in the area.

According to Emirates News Agency, the two officials emphasized the necessity of ensuring freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz in line with international law. They also addressed the need to achieve enduring security and stability in the Middle East, aiming to meet the aspirations of the region's peoples for development and prosperity.

Sheikh Abdullah and Dr. Abdelatty further explored the robust fraternal ties between the United Arab Emirates and Egypt, deliberating on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation that supports mutual interests and development objectives.
