Abdullah Bin Zayed and Portuguese Counterpart Discuss Regional Security Concerns

Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a phone conversation with Paulo Rangel, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Portugal, to discuss regional developments and the impact of Iran's attacks on civilian sites in the UAE. The discussion focused on the use of missiles and drones in these attacks, which have been labeled as unprovoked terrorist actions.

According to Emirates News Agency, the ministers addressed the broader implications of these terrorist attacks, specifically concerning international maritime navigation, energy supplies, and the global economy. The conversation highlighted the importance of strengthening international efforts to promote security and peace in the region.

Additionally, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah and Minister Rangel explored ways to enhance the bilateral relationship between the UAE and Portugal. The talks included discussions on cooperation across various sectors to support development efforts in both nations.
