Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in discussions with Ronald Lamola, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa. This meeting took place on the sidelines of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, where Lamola was part of his country’s delegation.
According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for cooperation in various sectors such as economic, trade, and investment. H.H. Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the strong and friendly relations between the UAE and South Africa and expressed the UAE’s interest in leveraging available opportunities to support both nations’ goals for comprehensive development and sustainable economic prosperity.
The meeting also addressed several regional and global issues, allowing both sides to exchange views on matters of mutual interest. Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, was also in attendance during the discussions.
