Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in a phone conversation with Carlos Esp¡, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Peru, to discuss bilateral relations and explore avenues for strengthening cooperation in various fields. The dialogue aimed to enhance mutual interests and bring prosperity to both nations.

According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah extended his congratulations to Esp¡ on his recent appointment as Peru's Minister of Foreign Affairs. He expressed a strong interest in working together to advance the cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Peru.

The conversation also included a review of the evolving UAE-Peru relations as the countries commemorate 40 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties, which began in 1986.
