During the call, both leaders examined the current situation in the region, focusing on regional developments and the impact of Iranian attacks on civilian sites in the UAE involving missiles and drones.

According to Emirates News Agency, the discussion highlighted the serious implications these terrorist attacks pose to international maritime security, energy supplies, and the global economy. The ministers also explored strategies to enhance regional and international efforts towards stability, development, and sustainable peace.

Additionally, the conversation included a review of developments in Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
