Abdullah Bin Zayed Discusses Regional Security and Cooperation with South African Minister

Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in a telephone conversation with Ronald Lamola, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa. During the call, both leaders examined the current situation in the region, focusing on regional developments and the impact of Iranian attacks on civilian sites in the UAE involving missiles and drones.

According to Emirates News Agency, the discussion highlighted the serious implications these terrorist attacks pose to international maritime security, energy supplies, and the global economy. The ministers also explored strategies to enhance regional and international efforts towards stability, development, and sustainable peace.

Additionally, the conversation included a review of developments in Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The call also addressed bilateral relations and the potential for cooperation in areas such as the economy, trade, and investment, with an aim to strengthen the prosperity and well-being of both nations.
