Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week to Commence with Focus on Innovation and Collaboration

ABU DHABI: The Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week is set to begin tomorrow at the Erth Hotel, Abu Dhabi, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The event, which will run until November 2, aims to unite regional and international experts to drive innovation and foster cross-sector collaboration in early childhood development. According to Emirates News Agency, the five-day event will feature a diverse lineup, beginning with ECD Innovation Day. This inaugural day will bring together over 30 experts to explore themes such as building ecosystems and emerging technologies. Innovative startups will also be highlighted, with insights shared by their founders, and solutions presented by six companies dedicated to improving family and child sectors in Abu Dhabi and the UAE. In tandem with ECD Innovation Day, the ECD Research Convening will take place from October 29 to 31. This interactive platform aims to inspire and enhance cooperation among researchers from the UAE, Arab region, an d Africa, addressing challenges and opportunities in early childhood development science. On October 30, the World Early Childhood Development Forum will commence, engaging participants from various sectors to develop actionable outcomes and further innovation in early childhood development on both local and international fronts. Concurrently, city-wide activations will be led by prominent partners including Mubadala, ADNOC, and the Abu Dhabi Department of Health. The week will culminate with The Early Childhood Development Fair from October 31 to November 2 at Umm Al Emarat Park. Sponsored by the National Academy for Childhood Development, the fair aims to create an interactive environment for community engagement with leading educational and recreational program providers.
